Wendell August Forge is America's oldest and largest metal forge still in existence in the US. The original facility was a historic landmark in Mercer County, Pennsylvania and has operated near Grove City since 1932.
This necklace and bracelet set has 2 different types of braided cord, hammered metal, stones and beads and was handmade in PA. This is a vintage set and very rare. I purchased it new from their store in Grove City PA in approx 2008. It is a stunning set and is Boho in attitude--very original and artistic and bohemian.
Trying to downsize which includes my jewelry collection so I have to part with it. One picture shows a dark spot near the necklace clasp. I believe it is a remnant of the glue they used years ago which has finally discolored the vintage cording. You cannot see it when clasped because it is on the underside of the cording. There are a few other very small areas which have darkened over the years due to the the vintage nature of the handmade pieces.
