1800 century Large solid brass kalash with had carved peacocks flowers and other design pictures all around kalash.
The Purna-Kalasha is worshipped in all Hindu festivities related to marriage and childbirth, as a mother goddess or Devi. In this context, the metal pot or Kalasha represents material things: a container of fertility - the earth and the womb, which nurtures and nourishes life.
Used for puja prayer .
This is from my grandmother.Kalash is solid brass with beautiful hand carved pattern like flower and elephant and much more.Pot hold about 36 Oz of water.Similar sold for $400
Appraisal value $580 for large only .
Large hold 35 oz water .

And small hold 8 oz water.
