This is an authentic vintage railroad lamp oil font (pot) and screw-in burner manufactured by the renowned Adams & Westlake Company (Adlake), a key supplier of railroad equipment. This specific style of font and burner was widely used in railroad switch stand lights or general-purpose signal lamps throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

* Manufacturer: "THE ADAMS & WESTLAKE CO. NEW YORK PHILADELPHIA CHICAGO" and "USE KEROSENE OIL ONLY".

* Font Construction: Cylindrical metal font with heavy rusting and patina, consistent with outdoor railroad use and age.

* Burner & Collar: The screw-in burner and the collar on the font are made of brass. The burner features vent holes and a wick adjuster. The long wire handle is for easy removal and placement into a lantern/lamp housing.

* Dimensions (Approximate):

* Font Diameter: 4 inches

* Font Height (without burner/handle): 3-1/2 inches

* Overall Height (with burner and handle): Approximately 7-1/4" inches.
