This product is a handmade fountain pen, crafted one by one by hand in a small workshop in Gunma Prefecture.
We value "comfort as a tool" and a Japanese aesthetic in all aspects of the materials, colors, and finish.

This model is an original design pocket pen specification fountain pen by the Matome Collection.
It is compact and easy to carry when not in use, fitting in pockets and small bags.
When in use, the cap can be securely attached (posted) to the screw part at the end of the barrel, allowing you to use it comfortably as a regular-sized fountain pen.

【About Colors】
The indigo-dyed pen uses genuine indigo dye from an indigo dyeing workshop with over 200 years of history. The dye is crushed by hand, mixed with resin, and then sieved before molding. The characteristic of indigo dye, where the color deepens upon oxidation when exposed to air, also appears during the resin hardening process, changing into a rich, deep blue with an exothermic reaction. White is combined in a marble pattern as a contrasting color often used with indigo dye.

【Weight and Feel】
The pen is relatively lightweight, weighing 22g. We have focused on a balance that makes it comfortable to write with for long periods.

【About the Nib】
It is equipped with a stainless steel JOWO (F) nib. Within the available stock and range, we may be able to accommodate nib size requests. If you have a preference, please contact us via message before or after your purchase.
