Non-Fibered Coating for damproofing exterior masonry surfaces. Black Jack® Foundation & Roof Coating is a liquid applied, thin “paint like”, asphalt based coating designed to penetrate and seal foundation block walls below grade and masonry roof surfaces. Prevents moisture from penetrating walls. Can also be used to seal and protect underground wood footings and metal surfaces.

• Refined asphalt base coating is designed for the resaturation & preservation of most types of composition
• Built up, smooth & granulated roll roofing, not for use on shingle roofs
• Use as a primer on dried out roofing felts & on cured concrete decks prior to the application of fibered roof coating
• Use it to coat pipes, gutters, spouts & other structual iron for protection against rust & water damage
• 4 hour dry time, to touch
• Allow 36 hours before back filling.

Prep the area:

• Remove all dust, dirt, and debris. Patch all cracks or seams with Black Jack 6230 All-Weather Roof Cement. Remove all rust or loose paint from metal surfaces. Do not apply over damp or wet surfaces. On foundations apply only over cured concrete and masonry. Not for use on sloped roofs, as product will run and drip.

How to apply:

• Use brush or roller to spread across surface of foundation or roof.

Coverage rate:

• This 5-gallon pail covers 350-500 sq. ft., per coat, over masonry and roof surfaces, depending on texture and porosity of surface. Two coats are recommended.

Clean up:

• Tools should be cleaned with paint thinner or mineral spirits.
