Antique Friedrich Simon Karlsbad (FSK) Czech Cobalt Bohemian 17” Oval Tray
Fully Marked Porcelain Demitasse Tray with handles. 17” x 13” x 3/4” Cobalt Blue Bohemia Ceramic Works. The makers mark with Friedrich Simon Karlsbad (Crown with FSK) decorators mark. Tray also marked with Bindeschild (beehive) The marks would indicate production before 1945 and is in very good vintage condition. There are 6 courting couples encircling the platter in addition to a large center couple. The Cobalt Blue is in great condition but it does show its age and the gold on scalloped edges is worn in places. There are no chips or cracks.
Created in Decoration studio of Friedrich Simon (Karlsbad/Carlsbad) his dates are 1918-1939.
